TutorConnect is an online marketplace connecting qualified tutors with families seeking educational support, primarily serving the Nigerian diaspora in the UK and US. We facilitate tutor discovery, booking, payment, and video sessions.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Tutors must provide truthful qualifications and are subject to admin approval before appearing in search results.
All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Prices are set by tutors and displayed in GBP. A full refund is available for cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session. Late cancellations are non-refundable.
Users must treat others with respect. Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behaviour will result in account suspension or termination. Tutors must maintain professional standards during all interactions.
All content, branding, and software on TutorConnect are owned by or licensed to us. Users retain ownership of content they create (e.g., gig descriptions, reviews).
TutorConnect acts as a platform connecting tutors and families. We are not responsible for the quality of tutoring services provided. We do not guarantee specific educational outcomes.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
